Valentine’s Day brought to you by Thomas Keller
Well, sort of. Rather than brave the masses with a wife who is 9-months pregnant, we decided to stay in and cook dinner. We busted out Thomas Keller’s new cookbook — ad hoc at home — and cooked our Valentine’s Day dinner from it. See below for prime rib w/ horseradish cream, creamed spinach and red potatoes (not pictured: red velvet cupcakes).

Great meal — we’ll definitely be using these recipes for dinner parties in the future. And we love this cookbook. Most highly-regarded chef’s cookbooks are chock full of impossible to find ingredients and recipes that take an entire day to crank out. Not the case here — easy to replicate recipes + informative pictures. Pick it up for that next meal where you want to impress.
