Tuesday’s one of my favorite days of the week. Random favorite day of the week you may say. Well, Tuesday is when new music comes out and subsequently the day of the week where my bank account takes a little hit.
I was thinking of ways to get more music onto my blog. I’ll still trot out the “In Case You’re Curious” mixes but because I take those mixes quite personally, they take a long time to crank out. My aim is to post weekly. One problem was what day to post — Kenny Kellogg’s got a stranglehold on Friday with his Chill Mixes and I’m a big fan of 33Forever’s Midweek Mixes that show up on Wednesdays.
So Monday it is. I’ll post a handful of songs from albums coming out the following today that I’m particularly excited about. In today’s inaugural edition, a track from Mumford & Sons (fine, this album came out last week but it’s a great tune), something from the Shout Out Louds (my favorite indie rock band from Stockholm … please, like you don’t have one too) and Electric President. Enjoy.
